FUZHOU — Wang Yuxia’s husband once promised to take her to all the beautiful sights across the country. But when he suddenly died, it seemed her dream had died as well.
So it was up to her sons to carry out their father’s promise.
Realizing their 81-year-old mother gets carsick easily and they cannot afford to travel luxuriously, they built a three-wheeled carriage to take her around the country — powered only by their own feet and the determination to express love.

During their first trip to Hong Kong , the brothers decorated the roof of their carriage with four dragons to symbolize their Chinese heritage. These were later changed to doves of peace to express their desire for peaceful ties across the Taiwan Straits.

Sedih biler terbaca akhbar pagi nie... bayi yang dilahirkan tanpa hidung, mata dan mulut yang tidak sempurna... Semuga ada sinar harapan pada bayi dan keluarganya..
CHAI LIM yang dilahirkan tanpa hidung dan mata dipindahkan ke Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh semalam bagi menerima penjagaan dan rawatan rapi. IPOH - Dilahirkan tanpa hidung dan mata, mulut yang tidak sempurna manakala kaki dan tangan pula mengalami kecacatan.
Itulah nasib Lee Chai Lim, bayi lelaki berusia tiga minggu yang sejak 8 April lalu ditempatkan di sebuah rumah perlindungan, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kanak-kanak Cacat Ipoh (PKKC) di sini.
Chai Lim yang dilahirkan di Hospital Taiping pada 28 Mac lalu merupakan anak pertama sepasang suami isteri yang berasal dari bandar berkenaan.

Namun Jenny merampas beberapa mata untuk Nicol di depan 6-3 sebelum Nicol segera menamatkan permainan 11-4 untuk mempertahankan gelaran Terbuka Cayman buat kali pertama.
“Menentang Jenny sentiasa sukar. Saya fikir permainan akan berkesudahan 3-2 kerana amat sengit dalam set pertama, tidak sangka dapat menang 3-0,” kata Nicol yang kali kedua menundukkan Jenny tahun ini selepas Terbuka Chennai bulan lalu.
Kejuaraan ini juga yang ketiga buat Nicol bagi tahun 2010 selepas Terbuka Chennai dan Kuala Lumpur.
Nicol sempat membayangkan untuk mempertahankan kejuaraan padamasa akan datang dengan berkata: “Saya harap akan kembali mempertahankan gelaran ini tahun depan dan jika badan masih kuat saya pasti akan berada di sini pada 2012 untuk Kejohanan Terbuka Dunia.”
BERTENAGA... Nicol (kanan) beraksi cemerlang mengatasi Jenny, kelmarin. Nicol mengekalkan kejuaraan yang dimenanginya tahun lalu selepas menewaskan musuh ketatnya tiga set berturut-turut 11-8, 11-8, 11-4 dalam masa 32 minit, kelmarin.
Permainan voli Jenny dalam set pertama ketika dia hanya ketinggalan 8-9 memakan diri selepas memberi mata mudah buat Nicol menang 11-8.
Keadaan hampir sama di set kedua apabila kedua-dua pemain banyak bermain rali hingga satu ketika terikat 7-7, sebelum aksi kemas dan pukulan kilas Nicol memerangkap Jenny untuk kemenangan 11-8 dalam set kedua.
Nicol meningkatkan permainan dalam set ketiga dengan aksi lebih pantas mendahului 5-1.
